I graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1990 and went on to complete specialty training in psychiatry at the University of Washington Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Residency Training Program.

I have been in practice since 1995 and am certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Treatment with me begins after a thorough evaluation and exploration of therapeutic options, including medications, psychotherapy and behavioral interventions.

In therapy, I strive to provide the expertise and atmosphere that allow us to work together to understand (and change) emotional, cognitive and behavioral patterns that interfere with your ability to pursue and successfully attain the life goals that are important to you.
